We believe that every living creature, from the majestic elephant to the tiniest pollinator, plays an irreplaceable role in the intricate web of life. It is our collective responsibility to ensure their survival for future generations. To achieve this goal, we harness the power of technology to amplify our efforts and expedite the progress of our research endeavors.
Harnessing the power of AI and machine learning, our organization is transforming wildlife conservation, ensuring a flourishing ecosystem for generations to come.
AI and machine learning, combined with equipment such as drones and camera traps, enable us to track wildlife, identify habitats, and monitor population dynamics. We partner with wildlife researchers and empower their research with our software solutions and data analytics, which help scale their conservation efforts. We educate and inspire others to use AI for environmental stewardship. We are committed to research and development to ensure continuous innovation, unlocking new possibilities and driving positive change for wildlife conservation worldwide.
Aiden, the founder of Lupita Conservation, adopted Lupita, an Alaskan Husky puppy, from the Bay Area Humane Society when he was eleven years old. Lupita was six months old when they met and had been found straying in the Colorado mountains. The shelter staff named her “Lupita,” which means “the river of the wolf,” in Spanish, because she looked like a small wolf.
Lupita was later renamed Lilly and became Aiden’s best friend ever since. Lupita Conservation was established to combine the founder’s passion for wildlife conservation with technology. The organization was named after the dog to honor her companionship with the founder.
“I believe that every living thing, big or small, has a unique and important role to play in the amazing web of life. It’s up to each and every one of us to make sure that they’re around for our kids and their kids, too!”
Aiden Lundberg
Founder & CEO
At Lupita Conservation, we collaborate with wildlife conservationists worldwide to accelerate and scale their efforts through the transformative power of technology. Our primary goal is to provide technical expertise and data solutions that address the challenges faced by conservationists in the field. Currently, we are partnering with local university researchers to estimate the population of elephant seals at Año Nuevo State Park, leveraging drone photography and an AI-powered software program.
Lupita’s founder Aiden is a high school student and a bay area native. He has always been determined to save wildlife from extinction as long as he can remember. His involvement with environmental and conservation organizations started when he was just nine. Aiden’s skills in programming nicely complement his dedication to his passion. If you see him at a wildlife conservation event, please say hi, as he is a frequent and active participant in such events.
